Local contestant on 'The Golden Bachelor' took home the first impression rose

It's a first for the "The Bachelor," and for a franchise that has been around as long as it has, that's saying something.

"The Golden Bachelor" features lead Gerry Turner on his journey to find love with 22 women — all ranging in age from 60 to 75. The show premiered on Thursday, and a local contestant ended up taking home that converted first impression rose.

Faith is a 61-year-old high school teacher from Benton City in Eastern Washington. She wowed Turner by arriving at the mansion on a motorcycle with a straight-out-of-rom-com hair shake taking off her helmet, followed by a guitar serenade later in the night. She, obviously, won the first impression rose in that moment.

Good luck to Faith and the rest of the cast on the very first season of "The Golden Bachelor."
